Little League, founded in 1939, in Williamsport, PA,is the world's largest youth sports program with more than 2.8 million children and 1 million volunteers in more than 100 countries. More than 30 million people have played in Little League programs.
Everett Little League played its first baseball season in 1953.This year,approximately 450 children ages 5 to 12 will compete in the Tee-ball,Instructional,Minor League,and Major League divisions.
We are happy and proud that you have chosen the Everett Little League program and we recognize our obligation to make this a safe,positive and FUN experience for you and your child.
Your child is important in Little League, and official rules provide that every child plays!
Raffles...
With your paid registration, you received raffle tickets. The prizes are drawn during the Little League Field Day & Cookout in June. If you choose to sell the raffle tickets, you keep the money; if you sell them all, you will have made back the cost of registration!
Fundraisers...
The cost of operating a sports program for children grows every year. Everett Little League is a non-profit organization whose only sources of funds are registration fees, donations from generous sponsors, the concession stand(which pays for umpire fees), and fundraising activities. We hope that we will be able to count on you if asked to participate in a fundraiser.
This is YOUR Little League...
It belongs to you, and exists for the benefit of the kids. The strength of the Little League program is it's adult volunteers, all of whom contribute their time and talents on an unpaid basis. We hope that you will give serious consideration to volunteering your services for the benefit of the children.
